For Your Treat Or Trick Costume

Treat or Trick is around the corner and since I do not have work already, maybe this is the best time to accompany my youngest daughter to the mall but when we talked about it, she said that she thinks she needs to stop doing it because she is almost a teenager. I was confused whether to accept her statement or not because she is always a baby and she can join the trick or treat whenever she wants however yeah I think I need to stop treating her like a baby besides it would save me from spending buying her new costumes.

Nevertheless, of course I am sure some of the Moms out there is very excited to bring their kids out for a trick or treat. Just a friendly reminder, when buying Halloween costumes, it should be fire resistant that includes wig and accessories. If your kids want to have their treat or tricking after dark, they should be wearing reflector so everyone so they are visible. If you plan to buy make up, you should try them first maybe in a small area of your kid’s arm to make sure that they are not allergy to it and I would suggest to buy a nontoxic make ups. After the event make sure to wash them for them not to feel itchy when they go to bed.
Till next time folks!

Year-End Party-Coachella Theme

Our year end party is fast approaching, it will be held in SM Lanang on the first week of December yet until now I still don’t  know what to wear as always just like last year at the previous work, which I end up wearing out of theme outfit even though my friend lend me already her Japanese costume.

My friends and I at work agreed to meet up on Friday to check some Ukay-Ukay goods in Roxas, they said I can definitely find one I would like to wear that suits the theme.

So, what is Coachella? I think I already have this wonders before when my eldest daughter attended a birthday party, the theme on the party is Coachella. So what is really a Coachella costume? Where does this came from?

Coachella is inspired by the music festival; the official name of it was “The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival”.  It consists of both world’s arts and music. It was attended by famous bands and artists. It was originally started back in 1993 when Pearl Jam entered a bitter dispute with Ticketmaster over the service fees and was said it financially targeting fans and artists. So Pearl Jam looked for alternative venues specifically venues without Ticketmaster. At the later part they settled on the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio and were amazed of thousands of people who attended the event.

Coachella has grown to be one of the world’s most love festivals, it becomes a trend and now most of the parties are themed Coachella. The outfit is not hard to follow though; you can wear just anything, summer outfit specifically. I have some in mind but these pictures I found in https://www.glamour.com/ looks very interesting.

My best picks are these:

The Trick Or Treat Event in Gaisano Mall

Faith was so happy that she was able to join the trick or treat in Gaisano Mall, everything was so smooth especially when the one who invited us was my niece. Check all the amazing kids who joined the fun here.

The costumes were very interesting. Faith had so much fun checking their fantastic dresses and scary costumes. We were able to see Valak in a child. Faith wanted to be adventurous by trying to put blood on her face just like some of the kids there but sad to say it looks more of a lipstick than a blood so we removed it right away.

Sad to say that they didn’t have a contest for the best costume, which is a good thing because we were not that prepared. Faith’s costume is from a thrifty store from last year, we just innovate to be more like a nerd witch, oh well that’s how she call it.

No More Buying For A Costume

Just last Sunday, we were invited to join the trick or treat in one of the malls here. I was so glad because the purchase amount is just so light in the pocket. And since I don’t have to buy for a costume for Faith, we joined the event. Moreover we just want the candies and chocolates, not the price for winning. Oh well, they don’t have any contest for the best costume, you just have to go there, purchase the  halloween accessories and your kid can already join the event. Faith was so delighted that she did not miss the event there, she already missed the event at work since I wasn’t able to register but oh well the event in the mall is so worthy we had so much fun!
