Life after Thirty: How to Look Younger

Just because you’re “getting up there in age”, as they say, doesn’t mean you have to look it. Looking younger doesn’t require expensive and invasive surgery. In fact, there are several budget-friendly options that can erase the years with just a little effort from you.

The Sun is your Enemy
Not really, but it can be if you don’t take the necessary precautions when venturing outside, and that precaution is sunblock. Experts recommend applying sunblock anytime you are outside. Even on cloudy days, sunblock is a must to protect those harmful, and aging, UV rays. People are starting to realize just how important sunblock truly is, and various makeup companies are putting sunblock into their products, such as foundation and BB cream.

Don’t Forget the Neck
Like your hands, your neck can give away or age and even make you appear older than you really are. One of the best ways to combat this problem is with preventive measures, such as applying sunblock to your neck when you apply it to your face. Also consider investing in some good neck skin tightening cream to help reduce the appearance of fine lines and tightening the skin on the neck.

Utilize Volumizing Hair Products
As you age, it’s not uncommon for your hair to start to thin, which can make you appear older than you really are. Thankfully, there are an abundance of volumizing hair products, such as shampoo and styling products, which can make your hair look fuller. You should also use regular deep condition treatments on your hair to help prevent dryness, which can result in unnecessary breakage and fizziness.

Take Care of the Skin on your Face
The skin on your face is vastly different then the skin on your body, so why are you using regular shop to wash it? Facial skin, especially those on a maturing body, needs a cleaner that is made specifically for that area. Look for a cleaner that is gentle and doesn’t contain harsh ingredients. Avoid stringent products or ones with an alcohol-base. Furthermore, apply a facial moisturizer twice a day, once in the morning and once before bed, to help keep your skin moisturized and healthy.

Improve your Diet
What you put into your body has a direct linked to your outward appearance. Because of this, you should be upping the amount of healthy foods, such as fresh vegetables and fruits, you are consuming. Vitamin K, for example, is useful in improving your body’s ability to coagulate blood, which reduces bruising.

My Daily Dose

I am back to gym and I hope this time I will not feel lazy and will take aback again. I mean I really need to do some exercise, I am not getting any younger and I don’t want that time will come that I did not do anything and it will be too late for me to become physical fit because I am already got sick. On the other hand aside from going to the gym, I am now making sure that I always take my vitamins before I go to work at dawn, and I always make sure that I have the vitamins on stock. I always have my Vitamin C and Vitamin E, wanted to try another vitamins but I am already used to this, maybe next time I will.

Beauty Rule

I guess you all know that I adore Nadine, she is so simple yet she upholds herself very well. Simple but when you look at her you will be very stunned with her beauty. On the other hand, as I posted in Mary Anne’s Musings, I finally bought the “Team Real Book“. Here is some of Nadine’s beauty artist ‘beauty rule’.

Always clean your face before applying anything. Then, rub ice all over to reduce the appearance of pores.

Even if you have oily skin, you still need to use moisturizer. Just pick one that is oil free so it doesn’t leave your skin greasy. Brightening concentrates/serums also help reveal your natural glow. You can even mix it with foundation for a luminous complexion.

Choose multi-functional products, like a cleanser, makeup remover and toner in one. This will cut down time spent on your skincare and makeup routine.
